Dining & Fish Boils

Door County is blessed to have an embarrassment of excellent dining options.  Enjoy everything from family casual, Wisconsin Supper Clubs, and even some "finer" dining options! There truly is something for everyone.  We suggest everyone try a Fish Boil (don't forget the cherry pie for dessert)! So, what is a Fish Boil?  Take whitefish fresh from our local waters and add in potatoes and onions, put it in a kettle, and get ready for a delicious experience unlike any other.  The Boilmaster will give the history of the Fish Boil as he prepares it. Reservations are strongly recommended.

You'll find the authentic Door County Fish Boil served at restaurants throughout the county, Parkwood Lodge just so happens to be located near three of the best!

Pelletier's

Open seasonally May through October.  Served nightly, if you are planning a last minute Fish Boil, Pelletier's is the easiest one to get into, as they have more boils per evening than most.

Traditional Door County Fish Boils are served Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from May through October and on Friday evenings the rest of the year.

Located in Ephraim which has a beautiful view of Eagle Harbor.  Reservations recommended.

Julies Park Cafe

Looking for a fantastic breakfast spot?  Check out Julie's Cafe, located at the entrance to Peninsula State Park.  We're not saying you have to go for a hike on the scenic trails after you feast, but we are also not not saying that.

Looking for a great lunch or dinner?  Wild Tomato pizza is always a guest favorite, and ours too!  Located just across the street from Peninsula State Park, and a second location in Sister Bay, Wild Tomato Wood Fired Pizza will cure those pizza cravings!
